Because of the generous support from our collaborative partners, participations from our presenters and attendees, since 2015, Women in Dance has presented 5 international conferences, and more than 300 female dance artists and scholars who were selected from more than 2000 submissions, representing 27 countries and 29 different states in the U.S. They shared their work with local communities in Baton Rouge, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia.
In 2026, Women in Dance will be heading to Denver, CO, and we are looking to collaborate with local dance companies, dance schools, and all supporters for Women in Dance Leadership!
Your support for Women in Dance will not only contribute to the only conference in the U.S. that presents work by Women in dance making, but it will also support these selected artists and scholars to have the opportunity to share their work in front of directors of professional dance companies and dance festivals.
