2024 Women in Dance Leadership Conference is accepting Dance on Film submissions by female directors to present their work at Conference venues in Los Angeles, CA, USA
Submission Deadline – January 31st, 2024
Selection Confirmation Date – April 15th, 2024
Conference Dates – October 17th to October 19th, 2024
Submission Guidelines
- The film must be created, directed, and choreographed by woman/female artist
- Must be between 5-10 minutes in length
- Any genre is encouraged
- Only submit a complete work, please no excerpts or longer work that needs edits as these submissions will not be considered
- If submit a link that is password protected, please provide the correct password
- A $10 Application fee is required for each film submission
- Only submit completed work
- The performers do not have to be all women cast
- Please use either Youtube, Vimeo, Dropbox Link, or Google Drive to submit your work
- Make sure your work does not exceed the maximum length. Pieces that are not within the time limit will not be considered.
- The submission is only complete once the application fee is processed
What is included for selected film creator
- Selected film creators will present their work on 10/18/2024 and 10/19/2024
- Selected film creator/choreographer will receive a VIP conference pass (70% discount of the full registration) to all conference events
- There will be NO production fee once the work is accepted
- The Selected films will automatically be screened at 7artscafe, Yokohama, Japan in 2024
What is NOT included for selected film creator
- The selected film creator/choreographer will be responsible to pay for all of their travel and hotel expenses to the conference location in Los Angeles, CA, USA
- There is no stipend for the selected film creator/choreographer to present the work
