Keynote Speaker – LIZ LERMAN

Liz Lerman

Liz Lerman is a choreographer, performer, writer, educator and speaker. She founded Liz Lerman Dance Exchange in 1976 and cultivated the company’s unique multi-generational ensemble into a leading force in contemporary dance until 2011, when she handed the artistic leadership of the company over to the next generation of Dance Exchange artists. Liz has been the recipient of numerous honors, including a 2002 MacArthur “Genius Grant” Fellowship, a 2011 United States Artists Ford Fellowship in Dance, and the 2014 Dance/USA Honor Award. Her work has been commissioned by Harvard Law School, the Lincoln Center, American Dance Festival, and the Kennedy Center among many others.

Tzveta Kassabova

Tzveta Kassabova is a Bulgarian-born independent choreographer, costume designer, and installation artist. She was named one of the”Top 25 to Watch” by Dance Magazinein 2012.


Vendetta Mathea

Vendetta Mathea is originally from Detroit and graduated from the Juilliard School before she moved to France. She is currently the Artistic Director of La Manufracture, a dance conservatory in Aurillac, France.





Blakeley White-McGuire

Blakeley White-McGuire performs and collaborates with multi-disciplinary artists in performance research. She teaches Modern dance technique and repertory internationally. Critically acclaimed as a Principal dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company (2001-2016, Guest Artist 2017), she has embodied the most iconic roles of 20th Century Modern Dance.


Yin Yue

Yin Yue, born and raised in Shanghai, China, is internationally recognized as a versatile performer and choreographer.
